Privacy policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

This website, nomisto.com, is operated by Nomisto. This policy explains what information is processed when you visit, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: hello@nomisto.com.

The short version

• You can read every recipe without an account, and we never ask for your name to use the site.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not set any cookies and do not show advertising.

Information processed when you visit

Hosting and security. The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These technical logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short period under its own privacy policy.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which recipes are popular. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you and does not track you across other websites. We only see totals.

Search. The recipe search runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to us.

Emails you send us. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed.

Cookies

Nomisto does not currently set any cookies, first-party or third-party. If that changes, for example if we add advertising, this policy will be updated before it happens.

Services that process data for us

• Cloudflare: hosting, security and cookie-free analytics.

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards for international transfers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. Email hello@nomisto.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information for money.

Children

Nomisto is a general-audience cooking site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Recipes and guides sometimes link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.
